Aïda Jamal is the founder of Tahssis. She is a clinical psychologist, an art creator and a contemporary dance.

Born in Rabat, she had the opportunity to grow up in various cities in Morocco, which fostered her open-mindedness towards different cultures and served as a significant source of inspiration. Alongside her academic studies, Aïda received training in contact improvisation and contemporary dance through various dedicated national and international programs.

For over five years, she actively participated in numerous programs, creations, and residencies with many dramaturges and choreographers such as Taoufik Izeddiou, Khalid Benghrib, Irtijal company, Col’jam company, Meryem Alaoui, Nacera Belaza, Meryem Jazouli, Nedjma Hadj Benchelabi, Bernardo Montet, Libertad Pazo, and others.

Currently, she divides her time between Morocco and Europe, engaging in artistic, psychological, and cultural projects.
